I was looking for a car to learn how to learn manual in looked for many months...then one day it all changed I found a FORD FESTIVA I loaded up the car and drove 5 1/2 hours to look and buy when I first saw it I was in love (still am) it was a pos did not know if I would ever make it xxx miles but I did on 1tank off gas!!! Mowed over little trees went muddling got stuck copper times but amazing.

Good story Karl....@ 64K it's just breakin' in.......Rosebud? Oh yeah I saw that movie!'88 Festiva LX 5 speed, A/C, Carb, restored $$$ body paint, badly wrecked @ 200k.
'93 Festiva L, 5 speed, Aqua, bought from the original owner,.Zero rust but very nasty otherwise. Awaits the B6T.
'91 Festiva L, 5 speed, bought to drive while putting the B6T in the '93. now B6ME powered.

Lol I didn't know if anyone would catch that. One of the fellas on this site mentioned once that we can mod these cars till the cows come home and everyone does it, but it would be nice to hear more of the back story, like where it actually came from, how you came across the car, etc, so that's why the back story.An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the talent that rubs against it.
