Here are your candidates for June 2017 FOTM.

So my my Festiva is a 1993 with a B6 swap. Runs strong and never had an issue. First bought it last summer in June and really liked it. I knew it needed a few little things like a set of pads, and axles. But I have recently upgraded my suspension a little bit. I put brand new Monroe struts all the way around with aspire springs to go with them. It now sits a little higher and rides even better. I also decided to put 1.25" wheel spacers on to add to it. My tires will hit my fenders if it is a big bump. Not a very pleasant sound either. But I plan to just keep driving it as I will be heading to college in the fall. Always enjoy driving it around town and cruising on the highway. Definitely makes people look twice haha. I also wanted to thank this forum for all of the useful information on here. Anything you need is within easy find.

Here is my 92 Festiva. 1.3L 5spd, A/C, Sport interior, & Bone stock. The Little Car!

It’s been part of the family for 18 years. I bought it because I was broke & changing to a better job, & could not afford to drive my truck to the new job every day, so I borrowed $500 for the down pmt on a $2000 car with 124k miles. It now has 265K miles, & has only had a few minor repairs (clutch, radiator & water pump, C/V shafts). It just keeps going....

My 2 daughters always called it the Little car, which has always stuck. They both used it to learn to drive a stick, then took their drivers test in it, as well as learning how to tow & back up a trailer. Since I tow a ski boat with the truck, I added a hitch & my daughter towed the ski to the lake every weekend for many years. Occasionally, I will still use it to tow the ski if I go up to the delta on a solo trip. Its amazing how many comments I get when I pull up to the launch ramp. BTW... Towing at 65 with the A/C on, it still gets 36mpg!

When my son-in-law had his car stolen, he borrowed it for a year before finally talking me into selling it to him. After another year, he blew out a CV shaft, & thinking it was the trans, he gave it back to me because his dad bought him a Mustang. I was so happy to have it back, I restored it back to excellent condition & have been driving it almost every day, (even though I have a new car sitting at home)! I have a few friends begging me to sell it, but it will never leave me again.

Hey this looks like a Great month for stock Festivas, so introducing Rosebud, Rosebud came to us through the Dealership I work at. this car was sold back in 1990 at our local Ford dealer and I worked with the fella that bought it so I have known of this car the whole time and have helped him do normal repairs, brakes, exhaust, etc, I was really surprised on a Monday morning when one of the salesmen came to me and said hey you gotta come see what was just traded in, I'm interested so as we walk through the showroom and out the front door, there it was, that cute little Red Festiva I had know all it's life, so I start looking for my friend to see what was up and sure enough him and his wife were standing off to the side with big grins on their faces, they traded for an Impala but the stipulation was that I would be able to buy the Festy, so I asked the salesman what he wanted, he says you gotta ask your friend, so I turned to my friend, him and his wife were right next to me by then, they gave me a big hug and said it's yours friend, well heck you could have nocked me over with a feather, we went out for supper that night and they presented me with the title. So on with the story, In the first pic, Rosebud is sitting in front of the dealership right were they left it,

In the second you will see the actual miles on this car when they traded it in, that's right 64k


at this point we are getting ready to give Rosebud a good clean up,

We give him a waxing on one side to show how good he would look polished up,

The last picture shows that the car was bought at Ulrich Motors in Pella Ia. This car is Not rust free, it has the normal rust back by the right rear wheel, it's not very bad but it's there, anyway now you know all about Rosebud oh and the name came from our Grand daughter, she is 5. I was looking for a car to learn how to learn manual in looked for many months...then one day it all changed I found a FORD FESTIVA I loaded up the car and drove 5 1/2 hours to look and buy when I first saw it I was in love (still am) it was a pos did not know if I would ever make it xxx miles but I did on 1tank off gas!!! Mowed over little trees went muddling got stuck copper times but amazing.

Lol I didn't know if anyone would catch that. One of the fellas on this site mentioned once that we can mod these cars till the cows come home and everyone does it, but it would be nice to hear more of the back story, like where it actually came from, how you came across the car, etc, so that's why the back story.
