  • My festy resembles a car finally

Decided to go to Amen's and get all the parts for my festiva... took me four days of replacing the complete wiring harness but it works! To fill you in on what worked before:

engine, transmission, toggle switch lights, jerry ridged ignition, brake lights.

now everything works from turn signals to the automatic selt belts!

    Before:

    After:

ok so I still had to rig a few things. My ignition had to stay the way it was because the housing for the stock was smashed and to get a new one it was going to be a pain, plus the stock lock cylinder was like 60 bucks. Screw that. I also had to rig my fan because the stock fan wiring connected to a temp switch that i couldn't find... why? Because the retards broke off the housing and couldn't replace it.

I kind of like the ignition switch location you have. It's almost like a Saab.

Wow, nice! was it a pain to relocate the ignition switch? Would it be possible to make a push-button start?

I like the ignition switch location. Just one question. Are you going to wire the 12V socket in the hole on your steering colum?

That would be slick as hell.
