Blown in half... I got it towed home and it's going to sit in the back yard until I get the time to figure out what my plan is...
My uncle has a stock 5-speed tranny in just parts car I can steal, put in and run with... But then I'm in the same boat as I am now and stuck with a blwn tranny... I've got the G25MR in the basement still bolted onto the B6T... I'll need to pickup the axles (still have the half-shaft) and get the custom mounts made up... Then I've got a pretty much "bullet proof" setup for now.
I have some pics, but they're big. I'm going to downsize them once I get home to my laptop and I'll post them up.Simon - pimptiva.comComment

Oh wait... the whole bell-housing piece is broke off. After removing that bracket, it practically falls off.
Several of the teeth are chipped and screwed up

Wait didn't we mention something about being to hard on the festiva tranny with a BP motor..... JUST PICKING ON YOU A BIT SIMON! Yeah mine was no wheres near that bad, I just had a hair line crack loosing fluid through it. Nice kill!Comment

Yea - this thing literally blew apart. I didn't think I was being that hard on it really though! I've burned out like that before, I took it to the track and had similar traction issues that would've been like burning out like that, etc...
It's alright though... It gives me a good reason to upgrade. I just need to figure out the mount stuff...Simon - pimptiva.comComment

It's good that blew up! Its the dirtiest tranny I have ever seen, you have a exhaust leak? Yes, that's reverse that fell out I think with some creative welding you could re-use it.
