1 question .. Did you have those spacers in there when it broke ??

or had you removed them .
If I remember right , you had to have them on those wheels .
I never have installed the spacers since aspire brake setup fits perfect with fat wheels. The stock festiva lugs really cheap and no good for big wheels cause it shorter size of lugs.

Get studs. They make putting the wheel back on alot nicer.

Ahhhhhhhh..... I got second bad day again! Same problem like first time in past...

Last Monday 21 night I was driving slow and entering the HWY and i feel something funny with steering and I decided to try pull out but it was too late and it got blow out the air sound so loud and locked up the driver's side wheel... it turned out the fancy wheel design was very bad with clearance of head bolts which never allowed the wrench socket to fit fully...

I did replaced new bolts and tight them very good.... it didn't work and it loose off again and at second time three bolts were gone... but one longer bolt did still in place and thank god it didn't rip my front bumper or fender again! but unfortunately the one new wheel was destroyed.

I have finally decided to remove all fancy wheels and replace with crappy 13' OEM steel wheel and it tight very good.

That's too bad. Once again, glad you're okay. It could've been worse if you had gotten up to speed first. So did one of the nuts go through the wheel? What caused the big hole/crack in it?

I'm guessing caliper. And yes, I'm also glad you're OK.

Sorry man, that sucks. I guess you know that. The crappy OEM wheels are 12". Glad you are safe and it didnt do any more damage to your unique car or you.

he's got Aspire brakes, so Aspire wheels would be 13's

Yes, it was Aspire caliper hit hard with wheel rim inside and almost destroy the outlet rod ties but somehow it stopped right there by aspire caliper.

I did brought new 10.9 strength lug bolts and was 17M socket size but I guess it didn't work well with fancy wheels.

I am glad one bolt was still stuck before it going out the control...
