  • What's up with this ebay "rear shocks" deal?

    Here's the link:



    The ad is for "Gabriel rear shocks." The pics show Gabriel strut boxes and a rear strut.

    The description however, is...

    "One Pair (2) of Gabriel Rear Spring Seats.

    They are New and In the Box, Never Been Installed.

    Please note that the picture provided is for example and is most likely not of the part number described here."



    Big difference between "shocks" and "spring seats! Yet they have a 99.7% approval rating.

    I just don't like the main ad copy. I expect full struts only to see "spring seats."

    Am I missing something?

    E-mail the guy. That's how I usually tell if i buy. How quick he replies, and if it is some automated reply and not a personal e-mail that he personally sent.

      99.7% of people don't know the difference between shocks and struts.

      Most people interested in gabriel suspension components are looking for cheap replacements and not high performance.
