"weighing less than a thousand pounds." It is an amazing car but that is ridiculous. I would lose a fight to a festiva! Cool price tag, cool performance, and cool design though.

OK, maybe!
In theory my 1.6 N/A VW Rabbit diesel should get 50 MPG.
And it only has 48 HP
So with roughly 40% of the HP and less than 1/2 the weight and much less wind resistance it might be possible, but you and I know that at anything less than 65 MPH you will get killed on a major highway.
I suspect max MPG occurs at 35-45 mph.

It's a cool design, but I don't think my 6'8" 275 lb. frame could fit in it. I would assume that even if I could fit in it, it wouldn't have enough torque to get me going at top speed.
