Greeting to all. I just registered a few days ago. I have a 1992 GL 5 speed, that I got in 1996 with 34,000 miles on it for $4995. It now has 94,206 miles on it. It is Teal in color. The body is in pretty good shape except for a dent in the drivers door about the size of a grapefruit and one near the driver's headlight about the size of a Plum. The top of the rear bumper has all of the clear gone and the front is working on losing it. The rear, hood, and pass side are in very good shape, in fact I am surprised at how well the paint has held up after being outside here in North Carolina for almost nine years. What a great little car. In those 11 years I have; replaced the emergency brake cable mechanism due to salty Ohio winters, replaced the cat due to rattling, a driver's side rear wheel bearing, and recently the cooling fan. Up next is the rear seal and I guess the clutch since it is so easily done while repairing the seal. The A/C still is very good. I have been averaging around 32.2 for mostly city driving with the air on pretty much constantly lately with almost 30 days now of 90 - 100 with high humidity. That is with fairly aggressive driving.
    That's all for now.

    Cheers, Paul S

Fruit, funny. I read that and thought, "Wait a minute, Guinness isn't fruity." Then I realized, ah yes, my fruit size comparison. Perhaps it is a good thing I didn't have a cucumber or banana shaped dent. Heaven only knows what questions might have arisen then.

I have been in Charlotte NC since Oct 98. Was in Dayton OH for 29 years and Lorain OH for 29 years before that. Yes, I must admit that I am a member in good standing of OFOA. (No, it's not fruits)
