rear disk brake

Does anyone remember the post of the guy that made a bracket for the rear disc setup he used. I am sure he is a regular but I don't remember. Thanks

Well it's not a bracket, it's an aspire brake swap.

No, it is not an Aspire brake swap. The Aspires do not have rear rotors, they have drums. Someone in the past few months posted pics of the bracket they made and some of the parts they used to mount a disc in the rear with an equalizer and such to get it to work properly.

I know what you are talking about Gomez but I thought that was a year and a half ago. I don't think they ever posted pictures either, but I may be mistaken. I hope you find it. I know that discs aren't a huge deal on these tiny cars if you have the Aspire brake swap, but it would still be nice to have them on there.

I believ there were 2 guys doing it. One was a Escort GT swap and the other was FastoNOS using Capri XR2 disc's.

That one is pretty cool but not the right one though. I'm pretty sure it is the Capri one/ Thanks I will look into it further. If I remember correctly he said he was possibly going to have these made for when anybody wanted to do the same thing.

Just got through looking at all of the posts by FastoNOS. NOT him either. DOLT!!!! Someone has got to know the post I am looking for. I think it started about something and ended up being about a custom bracket he made for the brakes.
