  • Wondering, again

walked to my maw-maws house today. i no she has a tempo but never really looked at it. but on the back right under the tempo emblem, it says "all wheel drive" never thought ford would do that with such a cheap car. plus its like a '93. and the bigger question, take the tempo muddin'?
it'll do the 1/8 in 13.7, spin tires, and make all my drunk buddies giggle.

Yep they made a few but not many. When working at a Ford dealership in the early 90s I only saw one ever come into the shop.

I cant remember what it was but the drivline would not work in a performance application.

I wonder how rare a V6 Tempo is , I had never seen one until recently ,
Small little Tempo with a V6 emblem on it from Fla.
I asked if they put that in there , he said it came like that ??

I don't think it was like that , I should have taken a pic of it .

I just had never seen one like that , and can't imagine a V6 in such a small car ??

I thought it was a car that someone had done a swap .

im scared of tempo's now. well ever since i tore the front end off of one months back. cost me 600 bucks for a bumper cover and a right front fender. he never got it fixed either. i see it around town every once in awhile.

They made a V6 Tempo in the last few years of production. It was the 3.0 Vulcan used in base Tauruses and mid-level Rangers and the like. Early on there was also a Tempo with a 2.0 Mazda diesel. Go figure.
