  • a -Little- respect

First off... I respect the little guys. i hate people that think your a joke, and dont respect you at all just because you drive a festiva.

For instance... I bought my Festiva and its one of the funnest cars i've ever driven. Its just so much fun when you dont weigh anything at all! But the exuast is rusted through and it sounds like something someone would have paid 300 bucks for... that i got for free! Thank you rust!

This is what makes me mad though... I pulled into a parking lot where all the "street racers" were hang'n out just to talk to one of my friends... well my festiva being ungodly loud drew a few people over to investigate. I get out of my car and a group of punks start pick'n on me and my car, treating me like crap just because i drove a Festiva into their gay little streetrace'n parkinglot. They went on and started telling me that only people that had racing expeirence and a fast car are aloud in "their" parkinglot. That was about the stupidest thing i'd ever heard. Well i went on to tell them that i race alot, that i race AutoX. They'd never heard of it, and proceeded to tell me that i had to leave. i then got pissed, all i wanted to do was talk to my friend and just because i didnt have a "respectable" car they were shunning me. So i call out person with the "fastest" car there and told him that my little 2 liter inline 4 would beat his car in any race, street, mud, rain, or snow... So we pick a place to race and we meet down at the other end of town.

Just to tell ya how fast and furious This group is, there were a few Civics, a Cobalt SS, a v-6 camaro, and a 98 Mustang GT. So we pick a place to race and we meet down at the other end of town. Me and the Mustang were gonna go head to head.

Well as you all know festivas didnt have 2 liter's... but my 2006 Lancer Evolution IX SE does... That sure did piss them off when festiva boy showed up in an Evo. I was 4 car lengths ahead befor i got to the speed limit. Suddenly i had "street credit" just because i was drive'n an Evo.

    Screw that.

Why would someone not give another person any respect just because they werent driving some car that had "street credit". Its Stupid! I wish i had a Festiva like some of the peoples on here... that woulda definately shut them up.
BlueBooger- Blue 91 Festiva L, Black 06 Lancer Evolution IX SE

I dont care who you are, you'll have fun in a Festiva.

What you ran into there clearly illustrates the difference between little poser princesses, and actual car guys. Never waste your time or energy on posers, unless it's to knock them down a peg or two. Don't even bother arguing with them, because we all know actions speak louder than words, and you spoke loud and clear.

Too bad they weren't listening, huh?

Thats hilarious. I would love if my car was more of a sleeper, right now its kind of obvious it has work done to it.

My first Car was a 1984 Crown Vic . . . it was an Ex-Cruiser and the guy I got it from had "restored it" to stock paint and interior, complete with factory LTD badges. I loved that car because no one knew it had a hopped up fuzz motor . . . Just thought it was a plain old grama grocery getter
