  • My New Car

Well, i got a new car.

its a 2007 Ford Taurus, used at $11,000 with 26k miles on it.

came from Virgina Beach, VA. as a rental. no pics atm, but i will be TRYING to take some tomorrow before work, as its not susposed to rain.

I am taking a hit on the mpg, but its a nice upgrade.

its getting 22-25 mixed driving, but thats also including getting on it a little lol.

not used to that power plant in the sucker lol. went from 65hp, to 155hp. the gas is touchy and its weird having cruise control, and power steering. im still grabbing the wheel like it dont have power steering out of habbit lol.

anyway ill get some pics posted tomm.

My mother and I both have Taurus wagons. They're great cars if you take care of the transmissions. You'll find they have a larger, but less devoted following than Festivas/Aspires

congrats on the new ride man... I've owned two taurus wagons, an '87 and a '90... the old ones liked to blow up from cooling system problems, but the new ones are great... dad bought an '02 a couple years ago and we've already put over 100K on it... still runs like a top.
                      No festiva for me ATM...

Sorry, but it looks like an old guy car. I bet you're loving the performance jump with no loss in mpgs though! It looks like you can't put an after market stereo in it when that one goes. Unless you cut up the ac/heater control plate thing. Nice low miles on it. I'm sure it will serve you well, congrats.
