I'm not sure I want to be the middle man but I think it might be worth checking out. I guess we'd need an affordable carrier , a way to pay, and a knowledge of customs ??

I guess I could call a customs broker or a import agent and see what they would charge. Its not a lot I dont think and they arrange most everything.

Stefan: I just asked about those parts. I really wasnt expecting a reply.

Well if you make it worth while you have to order about 100+ of each of those items. 20 foot container $2500 just container rental and freight 40 foot 4k. Not cheap but if you fill it you be looking at 1-1.50 per item.

Let us know if you think you might want to do this. Total cost looks like 30-40K worth of a order. Sounds like a lot but you have a mountain of parts.

              Thanks

A mountain of parts? That sounds like a lot of supply for a limited demand.

Thanks for the depressing info. Wouldn't it be possible to use Like DHL, UPS, FED Ex. to ship a smaller shipment of < 100lbs ? I assume they pay for container rates for their combined shipments. They offer breakage service too possibly. I don't know, just asking since you seem to have some knowledge on the subject. If its a pipe dream tell me and Ill quit now before I get to involved. Worthwhile to me would be to get some cool parts.

Before a large scale order is placed, I would want to see a sample of these parts.

Aftermarket + Made in China often equals parts that don't quite fit right.

Well you need to ask the manufacture if they will do small quantities like 10-20's? Then you could do DHL, UPS etc. Its just per item a lot more expensive like 5-20 per item. Call the freight side of each and see what they can do, maybe even a flat that's a lot of stuff.

                        Thanks

Ok I seen this on a movie once. I'll go over there and set up a "puppet company" making caskets and such. Then I'll have the workers sew in the parts into the lining and ship them using power boats to the west coast where they'll drop them off and one of you will pick it up. I can only do this a couple times though because Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will come over to China and raid my company of Pride parts...

                            EVOGUN :

I did ask about small orders see the last post on page one.

                            Tim:

I think that is a good suggestion about a test sampling order before investing a lot of $.
