The guy I bought my car from said he'd give me $200 for my engine whenever I swapped it. And mine has 190k and leaks oil. And you can get a b6 for that.

the guy probably is just fishing for a stupid person, there are a lot out there. Someone was about to buy my non-running sitting-in-a-field-for-five-years 88 ford escort pony for $200. Too bad their truck died so they couldn't take it and they never called me back.

i've seen festiva's in the newspaper classifieds that are asking $2000 dollars canadian (roughly 1600 US) for stock festiva's with a around 150 000 kms on them. this reminds me about this guy who put a huge plywood sign on his van that said "WANTED: FORD FESTIVA". I called his house and some old lady answered and asked me some questions about my car. I told her I wanted $3000-4000 for it. Needless to say, she never called back.
