I did that on my bike in 2005. Started in Baltimore, down to VA, TN, AR, TX, NM, AZ, CA, UT, CO, KS, IA, IL, OH, PA, then back to MD. took 2 weeks and 5k miles. Thinkin about doin it again... :mrgreen:

I think if we put our grubby little minds to it, we could come up with something that most everyone could participate in and possibly even garner some media attention regarding "recycling," "going green," or "re-using little throwaway cars."

I like Willie's land and lake use idea, too.

Just keep in mind if we have too many of these events, Packrat will have to get a second job, with very flexible vacation hours!!

that "lap around america" sounds sweet... could get peeps that cant come on the trip involed by visiting them and taking pics

id personaly like to get one of them united states stickers that peeps with campers get that shows what states that vehicle has been to.... id already be able to mark off MI, OH, IN, IL, IA, NE, CO, NM, AZ, UT, NV, CA, TX, AR, TN and KY

Yes I think Willie's lake sounds great .

So far I have done well Karl .. I have made 5 out of the last 6 events

I pick up another week vacation in 2 years
And I really have a extra week to play with after January 08 too
