I just realized something...

I just figured out that with the current modifications I'm making to the exterior of my Festiva, it will be going from a 92 GL, with painted bumpers, body coloured grille, etc. to looking like an 88 base model, with the 88-89 black grille (okay, that's not stock), smoothie tail lights, and black bumpers. Plus, it's got the round headlights, and Mazda wheels. This car is really starting to become mine now.

Can't wait to paint the whole thing black, install some better seats, redye the interior, convert the whole inside rear area for hauling stuff, and...

There's nothing like making a car your own and different from what everyone else is driving... especially when you start with a car that not many other people are driving in the first place

If you were a little closer I'd try to snag those red GL bumpers. My white Festy already has red hockey stripes, and I was thinking about getting red GL bumper covers for it, and painting everything below the trim strip red, to give it your basic two tone look.
