  • Guess who trivia ( easy )

Was reading my Festiva notes today, came across this:

    Date: 1997/01/23
    Subject: FORD FESTIVA POWER

Does anyone have any experience with Ford Festivas?
I am about to swap a Webber 32/36 Carb on my 89. A stock replacement is obsolete from Ford, and a rebuilt one is $500.00. The Webbers gonna cost about $250.00 and be much easier to get parts for.
Anyone ever done anything like this to a Festiva?? I'm can't find anyone
that has ever worked on these cars, only people that think I'm crazy.
If I'm not alone on this or any other Festiva modification, PLEASE let
    me know!!
    thanks
This I think* was his first ever Festiva post online, the rest as they say, is history. Take a guess anyone ?

So...Are there any other mods you can do to a Festiva??

Dumb thieves go to prison, smart ones go to work for the Government.

There are none. From the extensive reserch I and my collegues have done, there are absolutly no modifications for this econobox. We even used the Search button.
 This just in: Apparently you can modify this car. I took mine to its monthly gas station visit and there are 3, Yes 3, different grades of gasoline you can put in the (dont think I'm saying this correctly) "gas tank?". There is also this Green pump handle that makes the car a nifty smoke machine.

Take it back to the back porch, join the 3 string revolution.

Some guy came up to me today and told me you can put a "B6" in a Festiva. I was like "buddy, it's called a "V" 6 and it would never fit! Duh!" Maybe one day someone will figure out how to mod these little cars- but I doubt it. I mean, what can you possibly do with one of these things anyways?!?

don't even try to modify these cars. I'm an expert at Ford, and there is nothing that can be done to improve the performance or appearance of these cars. Don't even try. Nothing works. Even new paint will cause the car to stall. No other wheels interchange. Just submit to the reality that these are disposable econo-boxes, to be scrapped before they reach 10 years old.
