  • another update on my ford

    well i got both floorpans replaced,
    heres pics of them
    btw, that seam sealer from east wood is great,







    also got to messing around with the dremmel and a wire brush to the trim since its rusted i figured i had nothing to lose lol.

    heres a few shots.







    just doing that made a heck of a diffrence,

    i was suprised it looked that good under it, anyway thats about what i got done today.

      Alright looks like some good progress. I just remembered after looking at your grille that I parted a 51 ford out a couple of years ago. Keep up the good work. Glad you are sticking around even after selling the aspire. Are you enjoying the taurus?

        im loving it, getting 19-25mpg, but thats also some hard driving lol

          careful. not sure what your inspection requirements are there, but up here floor repairs have to be welded up airtight.

            i need no inspection on it since it will be getting historic tags, all i need is proof of insurance, and title or application for title, which i already have the title in my name,

            so its not that bad lol.

            a normal tag i dont think would pass, but when im done with it it will be hard to tell the repair from underneath.
