Sorry for the vague post. I'm at a loss for words. I'm OK, but my car is not. I'm not a hunter. I have thought about getting into it, but not this way. If you are out driving late evening, slow down! Seriously. Be careful The roads around here are littered with deer carcasses.

With what some people pay to deer hunt, seems like a cheap to hunt. But it's kinda hard on the car.

Of course there's the old song, "There's five pounds of possum in my headlights tonight. If I can run it over everythings going to be alright. We'll have some possum gravy"

Yep, I have killed two deers and never fired a shot. One with my 73 cutlass and the other with my 80 dodge van. They do a tremendous amout of damage and none of them ever have insurance - LOL! I had deer whistles on the van, but that guy was rutting and just ran full blast into the van. Since it was a Dodge Ram van, I figured the deer was knocking horns with the little decal on the door/fender - LOL! Showing his manliness - He lost, but I didn't win - cost me a couple of hundred to get it legal again. Oh Yeah, never even got a piece of venison out of it either. I guess that is why people use guns - Bullets are cheaper than cars.

Wabbit season!!! Duck season!!! (and on and on, ad nauseum) Bwast it! I'm just gonna kill you both!

Sorry, every time someone mentions hunting, I get Looney Tunes on the brain.

Question: Why is hunting with a high powered rifle considered a sport? Hell, the deer don't even know they're playing.

My cousin took out 2 deer in his big Turbo Diesel truck... One the weekend we went up to the cabin and one this past weekend. Nothing but a small dent on his hood and 2 free deer!

Sorry to hear about the car.

Didn't know about FB71's Bummer. I did get the deer. A 10 point buck! The cop was more interested in the deer than anything else. He even snagged one of the antlers before he wrote up any report. I got it back though. My wife was petting it at the scene, saying "Poor deer. I feel for it". HA! I said I'm going to feel it in my stomach. A buddy of mine stopped and we took the deer to his place and gutted it. He wieghed 185 at the scale. He'll be jerky and sausage in about 10 days. I put pics of the car in the photo gallery.
