for $200 why not... the loose shifter I believe is pretty easy to fix and otherwise if it runs alright I would say go for it... If it were here I would go buy it right now regardless just so I could have another one...

yeah, go for it! That mileage is pretty low as far as Festivas go, and fixing the shifter is super easy!

I paid $100 for my first one, and it was way worse off than that one. I still used it as my principal vehicle for a year after I put a new clutch in it.

Don't be a fool, go get it now!

$200 is how many fill-ups in your current vehicle (gas in HI is already stupid expensive)?

Bet if you fixed the wipers and shifter you could run this for years.
Or when gas reaches $5 a gallon sell it for 5x what you got in it!

If it where within 500 miles of here you wouldn't have the option of thinking about it many of use would have already bought it!

When i bought mine. It needed 10x the repair that one did. Nothing worked on mine except the the headlights and brakelights and that was all on a toggle switch. The wiring was all ripped out and the vent ducks all ripped out. Luckly the engine and tranny was in good shape. I went to a local junk yard and got all the parts I needed to get her back to normal.
