  • another festy

i might be getting another festy in the next week. its a black 89L with 177xxx miles on it. if/when i get it ill get some pics of it. its in fairly decent shape. test drove it earlier today. first time in a 4spd and carb festy. stalled it puling out of his driveway. it was a little sluggish being carb and cold i think. its got the shifter console. orange non tach cluster.

My carb'd car seems faster than an FI car. Atleast to me anyway.

I don't mind the carb in my '89. I agree with Brian. It's as quick or quicker than my FI car. I do mind the 4 speed slightly on the highway. The engine screams at 75. I still get 38 mpg. It's just very scary sounding. There's a 5 speed swap in my future.

Jason - do you still have the other Festiva?

My dad loved his carbed Festivas when he had them... they seem to get better gas mileage too.

Im staying in downingtown during the week so I have a 15min ride to school every day. Weekends I usually go home and try to thin down the fleet of cars sitin in the yard.

My GPA is a 4.0 with a attendence rate around 97 only one soc though. I do pretty good but theres always one or two people that will beat me.
