  • Fastest FWD Festiva?...............................

You guys might remember me... I sold my car about 8 months ago and bought it back about 3 months ago.. I broke the trans about a week after getting it back.. So I bit the bullet and put the gm25r trans in it with an ACT 4 Puck.. (Clutch Issues are GONE!).. So last night I went to the track with a couple of old slicks a buddy let me borrow.. (big mistake).. The car spun pretty bad going a 2.17 60' but still pulled off a 13.0 @ 109 and backed it up with a couple passes in the teens at the same MPH.

Just THISSSSS close to the 12's.. I've got some buddies that work at Procharger so we're going to get an air to water intercooler for it (I'm still using the stock capri intercooler) and some tires and it should go 12.7's @ 110+ all day long.

I have the video I just have to upload it.. I'll try to get it up tonight..

    Cya!

You have any pics? Dosent have to be of the run just of the car.
Those who think drifting through life is easy, never tried it in an FWD.

              Confirmed:

              Officially sanctioned.

Witnessed by large amount of people ( other than the driver and his buddies ).

Good faith ( usually proves true ):

Video and audio of run ( non-stop frame sequences, start to finish showing car, cumulating at timing board is a MUST ).

              Speculation:

Anything else. Including timeslip images ( no, those can never be altered by anyone in the world ).

So where is proof of this fastest FWD Festiva ?

Not if he keeps that Ford valve cover on. That's a definate loss of HP

                              nice run!

I read something that doing a burnout w/a FWD car can have negative effects on your run. Something about getting water on the tires from the burnout pit or something.
