    other yards

Most yards in the country have separate areas for similar cars.
Next time I'll take a few pics at some other yards I know.

I am disappointed that the under tray seat bottom is not interchangeable with the 1993 sleeved pull. I have to use the old bare wire and swap bottoms. I will have to take a hacksaw and cut the back seat mount off another 93.
Cut welds, drill out rivets, then reweld, rerivet.

Wow... Your junkyard makes it nice. Just plop the cars all next to each other.

In my yard, you have to scour through countless rows until you stumble upon one. :-P

    yesterday morning

I visited my http://bwbronze.com/festiva/favorite_spot.jpg in Michigan yesterday.

    And found http://bwbronze.com/festiva/intact_air.jpg conditioning system.

    and a chrome antenna.

I brought my tape measure this time. The cutout where I took the sunroof out, is exactly 7" from the front, and exactly 17" long X 31" wide.

    ------------------------------------------

The rebuild kits for these carbs are $41 AU.
Good news, Australian dollars are cheaper than Canadian which is cheaper than American.
Bad news, you will need two of them.

I spoke to my machinist yesterday. He will use the original adapter as a template, since no hole is straight. I have yet to buy the aluminum. Probably this week.

I was at the junkyard yesterday and today and I saw oodles of mazda trunk/gas releases. How would you install that? All the festies I have seen have the locking cap. Also, where would the setup mount in the interior, I thought it was recessed by the driver seat into one of the support rails? Now I am going to have to go back to the yard tomorrow.....

I think the remote hatch and gas door popper is very practical. Is that out of a 323 David ?

I will be selling two sets of them after I get the adapters machined.
I will keep one extra set for parts.
I haven't bought the 1" thick aluminum yet.

Only problem is, the air filter elements are $11 each and have to come from Australia.
Let me know. I would be interested in a set up!
