  • 2 Parts Questions

I think I'm posting this in the right group; we'll see.

I have seen 2 things on Ebay that I was curious if anyone knows anything about. First, the bolt set that allows caster/camber adjustments on Festiva frontends. Second, a Fuel Saver Chip Module.

Are these worth the money or are they snake oils?

Camber bolts are real, but only neccessary for correcting camber angle due to damage or modification of the suspension.

Any 'chip' advertised as giving you more power, economy, blah-blah-blah, is snake oil.

I don't see any now. They were under Festiva on Ebay a couple days ago. I was going to grab a pair so when I got my front end aligned I could get my moneys worth from the alignment guys. Full price alignment to only do toe in and toe out seems like a scam to me.

Be sure you tell anyone else who asks you in the future that any and all "fuel saver" or "performance" chips sold on eBay are a huge scam. They do nothing, and are made of ten cents worth of crap. Pass it on!

They can call them an intake, IAT, MAF, or whatever other mod they want. None of them are chips. They are cheap little resistors in a plastic box.

You can also get camber bolt sets from Rockauto.com, I believe.
