  • Kia Rio Forum!

I was looking for Kia Rio info on the web and found the Wiki site:

It had a link to "Kia Forums":

A great first car, offering practical transportation and great fuel economy. Discussion area for every generation Kia Rio.

This thread on front wheel bearing preload seems to indicate their knuckles are about the same as the Festiva/Aspire:

    Karl
'93GL "Prettystiva" ticking B3 and 5 speed, backup DD; full swaps in spring!
    '91L "AquaMutt" my '91L; B6 swap/5 speed & Aspire brakes, DD/work car
'92L "Twinstiva" 5sp, salvage titled, waiting for repairs...
    '93GL "Luxstiva," '94 B6 engine & ATX; needs overhauled
'89L "Muttstiva," now a storage bin, future trailer project

I wish some aftermarket company would sell knuckles with rotors and bearings already installed with the proper shims, especially since a lot of small cars seem to use this setup. Not having to worry about finding the right shim would make our lives so much easier. I guess there's always the Aspire swap.

I'm doing them, but it is not free, Sorry, and I need exchange hubs, or if you want specific parts, you can ship the hubs and parts.
