what are yalls project cars right now? more geared for classics but anyone are welcome lol.

seen this on another forum and figured id see here.

    anyway here goes mine.

mine is a 1951 ford deluxe, as of right now its got the flathead v8 in it, non running,

i plan on picking up a 73 mustang with a 302 in it and put that engine in the car. and probally sell the flathead.

ive been working on it here and there, working on brake lines and brake system atm,

have replaced floorpans in it, will be completly rewiring it, and converting it to 12v as well.

heres pics, it is rough right now, but it will get better as time goes on lol.

right now i have the heads off the block, and the whole top assembly off as well. (intake, oil filter, fuel pump, etc...)

we had it turning over and it would fire but had a stuck valve so it wouldnt start.

I've got Casper, the 90(or whatever it is...) Festiva I got from DJ's family... Currently doing a Kia Pride headlight swap up front (and still gathering the required parts)... Needs painted...

I was planning on lifting my 95 Wrangler, but that may be on hold... I'm looking at an '08 Ranger instead for a little more "cargo space"... We'll see how that plays out in a bit.

Besides that... finding myself a job is something I should be doing... but I'm too busy taking pictures.

Simon you don't have a job yet?!

I still have my orange festiva, working on that doing something special.
my 1989 Yellow festiva just got done with an aspire break swap, I need to get a couple of aspire rims and tires for it though.
2000 Daewoo next on the list of cars, needs the timing fixed, possible some bent valves.

Just purchased a 1981 Yamaha Virago that I am going to clean up and get ready for the summer.

I should have a 1969 Citroen DS showing up some time in the next month or so. It runs and drives but is going to need a bunch of re-wiring work done. It needs a paint job and a lot of panel beating, some new interior pieces and possibly I'll need to get some new hydraulic spheres.

I have the 1987 MR2 that needs some rust fixed, but I dont want any downtime with it as of now. I'm trying to find a Festiva somewhere so I can drop a better motor into it, they can be some elusive little buggers.

                My current project cars:

1990 Nissan 240SX: Overheated due to a leak in the radiator, so it is in need of a new radiator and a head job.

1992 Mazda MX-3 GS: Previously femaled owned and totally abused. Been giving that love, but with 210,000 miles she is need of an engine overhaul or a KLZE: she goes through a quart of oil every 500 miles or so.

1991 Ford Festiva: Just got her running again. Thanks to the fine folks here, I was able to get a transmission, and then a fuel pump and she runs again. Paint is faded, so I might try working on that this weekend. I have a B6T I am rebuilding, don't know whether I will put it in this car or if I can get my dad's festiva, I will put it in that.

1966 Olds Delta 88: The boat in the family. Got this from the son of an old woman who passed away. It was buried in a tiny garage behind her house. Had not ran in in almost 15 years. Swapped out the battery, cleaned up the points and she fired right up. Need a drivers side fender for it because the old lady had managed to hit a deer with it and caved it in almost 3 inches.

1967 Mustang Convertible, C-code 289. Solid, no rust california car "survivor". I'm not particularly interested in spending the next year sanding and painting so I'm going to farm out the body and paint but do the motor, drivetrain, and interior myself.

1990 Festiva (Jeffstiva). This is my first ever project car. I've already done the brake swap, dome light swap, power mirrors, cargo light, cluster with tach, fender replaced, windshield replaced. I'm waiting for my Kia Pride lights and grill setup to arrive. I'm also working on getting some different seats and door panels. The vinyl on mine is trash. Paint is faded in spots and I need a new hood. I'll probably paint when i get the hood and new grill installed. Or maybe wait and try to get a spoiler. I'm also working on a cargo cover for it. And I've changed out the cam to an FMS competition cam. Performance dropped so I have to get that figured out (timing, intake, exhaust, compression???)or put the factory cam back in. And who knows what else lies in store for Jeffstiva.

Logan - Nope, not yet... Waited through the holidays and stuff, I should get on it soon...

I went to look at an '08 Ranger, but it's out of my price range without having a job... Haha!

I just got done putting in some 3/4 ton axles now im in the process of drilling some old grain truck wheels/tires to match the boltpattern on the "new" axles. Im hoping to have all the bugs worked out before the runs in dresser wi.

Debatifying the Batstiva at the moment. Don't know whose dumb idea it was to put those stickers all over the car, but I'd like to get my hands on him.

On the plus side, I did figure out today that there are still Blue Ovals under all that other stuff.
