Got this beauty of an 88 recently and I've been trying to get it dialed in smooth. It has a weber carb replacing the stock one and I'm having trouble getting my idle down and steady. It fluctuates and likes the high side of 1000. My thoughts are a vacuum issues because there are so many nozzles unused with or without plugs. The car is also missing the vacuum switch, all EGR, the HAC valve, map sensor, and the charcoal cannister is disconnected. I'm not sure what became unnecessary with the weber carb or what would be useful to have. Would love to see pictures of somebody's vacuum lines off a weber carb setup.
