Headlight assembly

Got a 93 festiva. Finding headlight assembly for driver side seems to be rather difficult without spending an arm and a leg. Any thing more popular that’s interchangeable Some wacko hit my headlight with a shopping cart put a big hole in the glass. I live in a very rainy area so I wanna fix it before I short something out.

Clear tape temporoary fix to keep out water? Maybe cut patch from clear plastic soft drink container for added strength?

radi8u I didn’t I just filled in the hole with clear epoxy and sanded it flush called it a day
