Hello everybody.
I have a Westward 1997 Go-4 Interceptor (3 wheeler) with a 1997 Festiva engine. The problem is that it runs fine for a few days and then suddenly starts running on only two cylinders. This can happen either while driving or when starting the engine. Sometimes the problem will last for a few days, but other times the car will suddenly start running fine again for no apparent reason.
I have determined that the problem is related to injectors 1 and 2 not receiving a signal from the ECU (I used a Noid indicator to diagnose). Since the Go-4 is classified as a motorcycle, it does not have a standard OBD port (neither OBD1 nor OBD2). Instead, there is a non-standard diagnostic port that is supposed to display error codes on the service indicator when a jumper is connected like on the site I found out the mistakes. However, despite my attempts, the indicator does not show any codes. However, I am sure that it is working because it lights up when the engine is started and then goes out.
I have replaced almost everything related to the fuel system: pump, filter, pressure regulator, fuel lines, injectors, and the throttle position sensor. I also cleaned the tank. In addition, I have replaced the distributor (including the cam and crank sensors) and even the ECU itself, but the problem remains.
The spark on all spark plugs is fine, compression is also good. At this point, I have almost given up, because I cannot understand why the ECU sometimes sends signals to all injectors, and sometimes not.
