Hey guys, my apologies for not checking into the forum for the past few weeks. I've been feeling thouroughly unmotivated, Festiva-wise, since we're in the midst of winter.

Also, I picked up a couple of RC cars and have spent all my spare time messing with them, and getting them to do what I want.

I've discovered that RC cars are just like real cars: You drive them, and they break! The upshot is that my entire RC car toolkit fits in one hand. (screwdriver, allen key, 5mm hex driver)

Yes! Videos in the snow! Glad your back. Back in the early nineties I ran a kyosho ulitma pro. When the knobbies wore out and the snow came I ran sheet metal screws through the tires from the inside out. I put the smallest gear on the motor I could (8 tooth maybe?). Man it slung a 5 foot rooster tail! It plowed in the front with no traction, but it was fun. I ran it on the concrete at night for sparking donuts too! Good times.

Snow? That'd be neat, but the electronics wouldn't like that. I hear there are ways to waterproof them, but I'm busy making them go fast for now.

I picked up a new Traxxas Rustler with a Titan 12T motor, and a used, but thouroughly hotrodded, Tamiya M04M Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA.

I'm working on alignment at the moment, on both vehicles. For the Traxxas my goal is to fix the ridiculous factory camber settings. For the Tamiya, well, I just want it to be able to go in a straight line very quickly. It has a habit of getting very light at top speed, and then doing an unscheduled u-turn. (rear toe settings should correct it)
