  • New Toys

I picked up a few new toys to keep myself busy while winter's going on. Can't work on the Festiva so much right now, so I'm working on a slightly smaller scale.

The Alfa's got a few dings, but I suppose that's going to happen until I learn how not to run into the barriers.

What type is the Alfa? It looks to be a Tamiya?

Tamiya M04-m. 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA body shell. The stadium truck has it's road tires on right now. The dirt tires are even bigger.

I use to be into RC Racing. I had an RC10GT2 and an RC10T4. Good times, just got bored of it. Now all I have is a Tamiya Mini Cooper (M03-L) and my Brushless w/ 3-cell lipo Mini Inferno.

Nope. No brushless, yet. Those things are expensive.

Y'know, I did see a video recently where someone had installed a brushless motor into an M03 Mini and took it for a spin around a velodrome. The little bugger was doing over 70mph! When they tore it down afterwards, they discovered that the transmission was "melted."

                Oops!
