    this is my all time favorite truck.They are awesome fixed up and very,very EXPENSIVE .!!!!!This one is on eBay now.

    I always liked the Corvair pickups, similar layout, but with a ramp that folded down on the side.

                  I went to the rifle class at Gunsite in '92 and they had one of those things, in much better shape. They called it the VAP.

                  Fun to ride on the back over bumpy roads with an M-1 Garand.

                      I can't say that I've ever seen one of those. Not quite as ugly as a Thing, but close.

                      Speaking of Corvairs, did you see the Beavis and Butthead episode with the Corvair? There was a quote something like,

                            This is my Econoline. Its very similar in ways. The engine is between the seats instead of in the rear as with the VW. Not quite as rare as the VW though. Still, not too many people see them anymore and some of the looks it gets are priceless. I just painted it in Sept.'07. It looked alot like the one at the top before I started on it. I need to get it up on cardomain to show all I had to do to it.
