Took the new sport out today and dropped my wife off at the mall. She was getting out when this older lady came running out the door of the place I was dropping her off at....she held the door for my wife and I could see them talking as I drove off to the dentist. When I went to pick her up she was telling me that the lady was saying how cool the car was and that there was 2 other people that worked there that all were asking her about the car and where they could get one. When my wife told them that it was a 92 and that they aren't sold anymore the lady was all disappointed and said she needed to find one...then they asked the mileage and my wife messed up and told them 55mpg...lmao...she said all their mouths hit the floor and started asking if I wanted to sell it ,lol. I just thought I would share that...found it funny.

Must be a Festy thing...I came out of our local Office Max yesterday(ohio) and there was a little post-it note on my drivers window.I deleted bottom half with guys number.I did call him and he told me about when he bought one back in 93,then owned an 88.Him and his wife went over 200k on them before getting rid of them.He just wanted another.I told him I couldn't sell my under a certain price and he understood.
Gentlemen...WE ARE DRIVING GOLD.!!In more ways than one.!!

I did tell him of FFC and he couldn't believe a site just for these cars existed.

my gf has had similar encounters from others asking about our festiva............ and iv had this one chic that worked at taco bell tell me her bf seen me drive through the drive-through once and wanted her to ask me if id sell them the car so they can have an other... told her i was not selling it anytime soon...

I had an older gentleman stop in a parking lot the other day. He told me all about the Festivas he used to own. Best cars he ever drove he said.

Yup. I leave those notes all the time. I saw one in my neighborhood yesterday while waiting for my flu prescription. It was all I could do to not stop. My fever of 102.3 made that call though.

yeah, i'm afraid i'm more of a note leaver myself. but i've had a couple of people ask me about it. they dont seem to care that it has 360k miles either!
