Yeah well.. was on the way to work this mornin, came around a turn was doing 35. Some lady decided to tailgate me. Was going to the entrance to work and she was too. I hit the brakes and as I got to the entrance, the car hydro-planed and when it finally caught again, it jerked left. I tried to recover... Pulled into a planter with a palm tree in it. Popped my front BRAND NEW EFFING TIRE.... smashed the fender up into the door. Dented the steelie. Looks like I might have knocked the axle back a little bit.... EFFING CRAPPY DRIVERS.... hit my knee on the dash but I'm alright other than that. Some lady came in falling over so maybe it was her. No way to tell. Who ever it was needs to get their license suspended...

Left tire is back farther than usual in the wheel well. Chances are I bent the control arm and tie rod, right? And possibly the sway bar?

Sorry guys can't get those til later. I'm at work right now. It happened as i pulled into the parking lot. That's why i'm guessing. Haven't even had time to get the wheel off to check... :S

its more likely that you bent the unibody than anything else (from my experience at least)... is your axle still in the trany? if so, then consider yourself lucky.

get some pics, and pull the wheel off and check it. it might not be as bad as you think!

should i pick a part it? Or can I make more than 200 parting it out here? new axles in front... lol 1 month old... maybe 2 old. new water pump/gasket. new valve cover gasket 2 days.

and i just had the engine painted and looking pretty.

You should be able to get way more than 200 dollars in parts from it, its in great shape after all!

would need the cash like... now? lol like today/tomorrow? already getting credit checks done to get a focus. gotta have transportation to work ya know?

looks like repair it is... shopped around at est. 20 dealers and good grief. no good deals. had a 07 focus with 50 miles offered for 10k but payments were too high... soo now i'm fixing it. will get it home and check damage friday. maybe sooner. depends what happens. will keep you all updated.
