I might as well start from my car-owning beginnings because there haven't been that many.

1970 Dodge Dart named Pokey (miss that car sometimes. It was a good car.)
1975 Dodge Dart Sport named Roxie. Don't miss that car as much. Real gas hog. Had that big 318 engine in it.
1988 Ford Festiva L named Marvin. By far my favorite and the one I miss the most. Also the one I had the longest at 5 years.
1998 Chevrolet Cavalier named Baby. Rolled that car while I was living in Montana. Good little car. My fiance' and I both came out of the accident with only minor cuts and muscle pain.
1986 Nissan Maxima named Puddin (sound she used to make going down the road). My current ride. 320k miles and still plugging away.
    :cat:
Proud former owner of a shineee blue '93 Festiva L. Marvin will be missed.

<<<My first car. A 1984 Pontiac Acadian, automatic, did O to 60 in ohhhh about 2 minutes, I remember it did take the whole length of the on ramp to just barely get it to 60 with the full throttle. Had this car from 1988-1991.

My second car look like this

Except it had a sunroof. Bought new in 1991. "Gave/lent" to hubby when I got no.3 . Sold in 2000. Regret that decision ever since. I miss this car so much

No.3: 1999 Nissan Altima 4yr rental. Hated it, too big, un-maouevrable. Burnt clutch after 3 yrs. :x Returned it, then walked for 2 months

No. 4: 1990 Festiva LX Bought in summer 2003! What a downgrade from nos 2 and 3  Currently never home  , more hubby/car problems

No. 5: Red 2005 Toyota Corolla I do 7 l/100km, not bad for the size of the car. Haven't perfected the clutch yet, wish it were cable :?
I will NOT drive a minivan

                Wow...

                1. 1979 AMC Eagle sedan- belonged to my aunt, had 35000 miles on it in 1989 was rusting to death though. Sold to my now ex-friend who still owes me $500 for it.

                2. 1966 Mustang- 302 bored .060 over, Holley 600 cfm, Weiand intake, TRW pistons, Crane cam, PNP heads, balanced and blueprinted. Lost my job and had to sell. Still kicking myself, I should have stopped eating.

                3. 1995 Ford Contour- Leased for 2 years. I figured since I was getting married I'd get a sensible but still sporty car. Drove great. Turned in for:

                4. 1999 Ford Escort zx2 - Leased for 3 years. First brand new car. I got divorced so I figured I didn't need two extra doors. Great car, faster than the Contour in a straight line. Contour better in the twisties. Turned in for:

5.2002 Ford Focus zx3- Leased for three years. Ford Racing springs, Spax struts and shocks, Iceman intake, ported throttle body, UDP, Pacesetter header, Thermal R&D exhaust and a Focussport SCT chip. Bought it after the lease was up still own. Love it love it love it!

                6. 1999 Ford Focus zx3- Bought used for my new wife since she loved my Focus. K&N drop in filter is the only mod. Still own.

                7. 1993 Ford Festiva L -Bought for $800. No rust, no options either, some dents and dings, 133000 miles. I live 42 miles from where I work, Focus gets 31 MPG. Festy gets 40(I live in the mountains). Plans include Aspire brakes, Tach cluster, a frickin' passenger mirror at least 13' rims and a possible engine swap.

                              Arrgh.

First car was a '70 Firebird I-6 that I drove home and never fixed up. Too many problems. Nice radio though, and memories of listening to "Ring My Bell" while sitting in it at night.

First drivable car was my '76 Chevette 1400 cc two door. Loved it. Made an air dam and mounted Opel rims on it. Had it from '80 to '84. My brother inherited it and cracked the head due to no coolant. :x

Then I had my favorite '81 Honda Civic DX hatchback. Medium blue and wonderful. The only mod were Accord steel takeoffs and 175/70-13s (my first 70 series tires). Had it from '84 to '87.

After that I made a big mistake and got an '85 Civic "S." In case you didn't know, the S stood for SLOW. Same damn engine as any other Civic with all the sporty trim pieces. Big deal. Red over silver. I hated it.
Wrecked it in an accident where a woman pulled out in front of me and the car was totalled. Had it from '87 to about '92.

Next was my '86 Aries that was an ex-Ohio DOT car. It came with 121K miles on it. That lasted a few years ('93 to '97?) and then kept having problems, so I got my first:

FESTIVA! '89L, the Mutt. Back in '97 I think.

Then I got my second K car: my '89 Aries 2 door, around '98 or so. It's been without engine or transmission now for over two years. When I get the money I'll have to make the decision on what to do with her. I have a Mitsu 3.0 and 4 speed auto waiting to be put in.

'93GL Festiva! Got "Luxstiva" from a local dealer for $600 out the door. Over 160K miles when I bought her, and she's still my daily driver.
