                          Isn't that how you fix V8 SHO motors so they don't have cam failure? You weld the cams. I think that is what this guy did.

                            it is not my car (thank god). i was just researching taurus sho and that poped up on google and i just thought WOW who would do that.

                              call me stupid but I'm not to sure what I'm looking at...I see the cam lobe on the right...I see a sprocket without a chain? I see the shaft on the right was MIG welded and the other was electric arc welded...But what is the repair trying to accomplish?
