I got a call tonight from John (Pu241) just to see how I was doing since I had not been on in a while.
I've just been busy lately and haven't been on here much.
Looks like there are quite a few new members, WOW!
The Festiva is still going and going and going even if the speedo isn't.

No way! with the amount of comfort and luxury that we have with our cars not to mention the cadillac like ride....it is very hard to guesstimate when you feel like you are floating on a cloud!

Actually I can estimate my speed on the Festiva very well, 55 within +/- 1mph and 65 within +/- 3mph.
I verified this while having other people follow me. That's what happens when you've driving a car for nearly 20 years.
The struts are soooo worn out now that it is like floating on a cloud, a bouncy cloud

I do plan on fixing the speedo, just didn't think it would take this long.
I may do an engine and transmission upgrade at the same time.

Mine does not vibrate either at any speed , but I know when my tires need balancing .

Makes a big difference when the front end is new and tight , and new bearings all the way around .
