It does have the cassette. 5 speed, Tilt wheel, Power brakes but not steering. The seat tray is gone.(I knew you guys would be cheesing about that and was the 1st thing I looked for when it got dropped off) As much as Id love to save the split seat it is really tore up probably beyond repair.
Thanks for the glass offer cubstiva. I got it from shukmeister and should hopefully have it in my hands soon. The passenger side lock is missing as well as a key for it period, so I have the full set coming from threephin.

Yeah it definately needs a good cleaning. Im probably going to gut the interior save the plastic. Trash the rest. Ive got the seats from the Escort I can use for now til I find what I want. If my brother doesnt come get this SHO out of my yard soon, Ill be putting Leather 6 way power seats in it!

No unfortunately it doesnt have the cargo cover. It does have the cargo light. Im a bit surprised though that it has the regular dome light I was expecting the fancier one. Doesnt matter I have one I can put in. Door panels are warped because of the window.
I wanna say something to the diehard Festy fans. I am NOT going to do anything to this car that couldnt be reversed to take it back to original condition.(IE.engine or brake swap(plenty zippy and I didnt mind the original brakes in the other 2 Festivas I had)
I will probably over time try to get the pieces to have to take it back to original at some point in the future.
But if I end up rebuilding the engine I may put the bigger cam and header from FMS in it. I want to stiffen the suspension and think just stiffer springs will give me the desired effect. Of course wheels are always something that could stand improvement. Those 12" donuts just aint cuttin it.Ive found some rims I like with the right pattern and will probably go with em. But again since they are only 14s Im not going to have to do anything like roll the lips.
And you never know Im keeping these guys on the trail for additional Festys and who knows what may drop in my lap next!

There was only one type of dome light that came with the festiva's.
the "fancier" ones are taken from 323's, tracers, escorts, etc.

                Nice find!
Before you gut the interior I'd use a "rug doctor" with some Lysol® in the clean water tank and see how the carpets and seats clean up!
Might be able to replace the press board in the door cards and be good to go!
Look forward to see it on the road!

I thought about doing that but theyre so ripped up and the back seat is actually busted on one side. Just doesnt seem worth the effort for the disappointment that will ensue.
Didnt realize that about the dome light. Its a good day I learned something new!
Im really excited about getting it running. I got some parts today!(Thanks shukmeister and threephin!)

Any mold? That's the biggest problem in my car right now. Seems like it spreads everytime I clean it and just moves somewhere else. From the looks of the water on the front floor, I'd say you may have the same problem.

Aside from that, you've got options like no other. The tilt wheel is a pretty cool addition. My dad's 89 LX had it and we had no idea it was tilt until shortly before it went to the junkyard.

                    Good luck rebuilding!

Yeah mold seems too be pretty heavy. Hopefully can get rid of most if not all of it. The front seats dont bother me as much as the back though. Id never seen the split one before and this one is all busted up on one side. I mean the latch that holds it is completely gone. Probably wouldve tried to clean it up if it wasnt for that.

The split seats are nice. Lets you fold 1/2 down if you have a 3rd person in the back and need to take something big with.

                        Good luck with the mold.

I got the glass today from shukmeister. Im going to put it in tomorrow and start pulling the interior out and try to change out the ignition. I may do that first and see if it fires up.
