I went over to Leavenworth Kansas today to Advanced Auto Parts to get some parts for phase one of project "Jewel Reset". Jewel, the wifes 93 festiva, has about 185,000 on it so its time for some new parts. I think its all original stuff Im replacing. Festiva dependabilily never ceases to amaze me. Its been the greatest car ! She has put over 100,000 repair free miles on it and It just keeps going. But its time for some new parts. I usually go to St Joe for my parts, its a little closer and a lot easier to get to. But for some reason I went to leavenworth today. Glad I did. I noticed a red festiva in the parking lot when I pulled in. Standing outside in the minus 10 degrees wind chill was kingfish20031982. I knew he worked at Advanced but at a different store. Well he got transfered to the leavenworth store. So we got to meet by chance because I was there to buy festiva parts. 
I took a picture of his DD. Hes got a premo silver L plus at home he is working on. Like a true festiva fan he had pictures of it on his cell phone. It was great to meet him he is a great guy. So now Ive got a new parts store. 
Im fixing him up with a stabilizer bar tomorrow. Alway good to meet a fellow junky.
