  • R.I.P

Bow your heads in a moment of silence please. I received word today that Marvin ('88 Fetiva L I previously owned) recently passed away of a cracked engine block. Some of his organs were donated to Rosy a '92 Festiva who recently joined their family, and the rest of his body was sold for parts.

Marvin would be truly honored. He and I cruised alot of logging roads together. Apparently he passed away still convinced he was an SUV.

When I had the engine rebuilt he had about 189k miles. So I'm guessing that before he passed he had somewhere around 210k. Not positive on that though.

Let us all observe a moment of silence for Marvin. He shall be greatly missed.

Amazing how sad it is to see a car you once owned totaled.

Dumb thieves go to prison, smart ones go to work for the Government.

It's like losing a family member.

The people I bought the Festiva from didn't want to sell it as they'd put 150k of the 185k on it....

But I live around the corner from them so I guess it's a little comforting to them....

Too bad. Sounds like all Marvin needed was a shot of vitamin B6 to get him up and running again.

At least he was able to still be of use to his fellow festies.
