Not to be mean or anything but ebay is for bidding and if there is something I want or need...I am bidding away....if you guys want it more then me then thats great....but I do not think it is fair to try and ask people here to not bid just because they see one of our names on the list of bidders.... mtc

Often I won't bid against someone I know if they are the high bidder. But if I HAVE to have it...................look out, thats why its called an auction!

its also just good to know if we're bidding on something being offered by a board member.

Guys Guys Guys! I am not in any way suggesting that we not bid against one another, thats what an auction is for. I think if one of us needs a part and the others know it , it would be courteous of them to let us have a shot at it, unless they need it as well. Then its a free for all!
I merely suggested this because I personally had asked freshtiva about some parts here on the forum and then unwittingly asked him again on Ebay. I just thought it would save alot of trouble for anyone concerned that the same questions not be asked to the same people over and over.
I am TOTALLY for the spirit of a good auction! May the deepest pockets win!

Festiva_tunner on ebay as well as here.

I agree with gottafesty it is an auction and we should be free to bid on what we want . . . if your not willing to pay for it then stop bidding. I know it is frustrating though when you want something and you know the guy bidding against you. look at the intermitten switch that Jim was bidding on . . . I really didnt need it but I wouldnt mind having it he said he was biding against me and I let him have it. We can say hey do you mind if I get this part but all in all if a guy only wants to spend 30 dollars on something and someone wants to bit 50 then it will go to the high bider regardless. You can know a guy wants something and not bid as well but its your personal choice. what happens on E-bay stays on E-bay.
