  • First Drive of the Year

It happened today. I finally got the stuff I needed to get done all taken care of. The headlights work, the tail lights all have lights that work in them now and I've got a set of seats back inside...

The weather says it's going to get up to 64 tomorrow... And that means Casper needs to go for a ride! Took it for a quick spin today to get the oil going... GOD, I missed this car!

    Pics tomorrow.

That's great! My car is buried in the garage it would take a couple hours to get it out right now.

Haha... Mine was too! My dads Festiva was blocking me in, add in a couch, engine hoist, Jeep soft top, fenders, and 2 poles that support the upper garage. The battery in my dads car was dead because he doesn't drive it enough, so after jumping that and moving a few pieces out of the way, I was able to get it out...

They are calling for snow on Friday, but it'll be ok. I'm just too excited for the nice temps to let it sit...

Wish i could get enough time to get the black festiva on the road but have focused all my time into the white one I picked up in Leavensworth, KS.

Yeah - I still need to get the bodykit painted. I'm not sure how I want to go about that yet. I'm thinking about just going with a rattlecan job for this year until I get some more funds... I need to order 2 new Toyo's for the front yet... It was still a nice feeling to be behind the wheel.

I havent had freshtiva out since the STL festiva meet Nov 17th 2007. It was 70 degrees here today but the driveway is muck after the melting snow. Suppose to get more snow tonight so I guess Ill have to wait awhile longer.

              festivaWES that was Mclouth KS.
