advance match rock auto prices?

I am starting to really love Advance... I bought ball joints for a buddies mustang and put them in tonight.. $40 total for parts... he wanted the cheap ones, cause he is selling the car soon... but hey $20 a side for ball joints is pretty darned cheap!

ya between me and my dad we have spent over 3 grand in the last 6 years. but they are turning to crap here in ls now.

but if they will match rock auto, ill deal with them, lol

btw i just priced out a hardware kit for the drums on my 51, and 4 new wheel cylinders. advance wants 72.95 (according to the site) and rock auto wants 39.02,

both sites are the same part numbers, which i assume is going to be the main stipulation on this.


of course ill have to wait for the parts to get to the store but thats fine lol.

ill update tomorrow after work with what i find out, i may be ordering some stuff sooner than i thought lol.

ya the rubber brake hoses at advance and napa are like 22-25 ea and i need 3 of them, ra has them for like 16 and change.
i hope they honor it as long as its the same part number and such.

i will def be using ra more if they do. it just seems that their shipping is high to me.

that would be nice if they did that. im happy because i already get 10% off at advance for being a college student at the auto college. pretty sweet deal

wow the advance in my town just completly lost my business.

their website shows raybestos brand stuff, but they claim they can not order it. and they refused to pull up just the part numbers, then i pulled the print out from their website and they basically refused service after that.

WOW! The Advance by me bends over backwards to get me what I want. They'll even pull up AZ's and NAPA's websites and price-match while I'm standing there.
