    LCA-Sway bar tool.

    Was not sure if I should post this in repair help, or general...

    I was wrestling with my sway bar, yesterday, trying to replace my LCAs. I was having difficulty, getting my sway bar nut started on the threads, when I decided to try this. I took a welding clamp, and bent the upper forks out to about a 45-degree angle. Worked Great! Just wanted to share this with the group. (I have never seen it before on FF.com)

    great idea.
    when i did mine i had a hard time also. i put a light coat of silicone grease on mine and was able to get them to go together enough to start the nut.
    next time i go to the pawn shop i'll try to pick up a pair of vise grips like those and make a tool like that.

      that is awesome! thanks for sharing, I remember struggling with those bushings too. Took forever, I think I used two c-clamps but they kept slipping off.

        i just squished mine in a bench vise.
