i'd probably pay $1500 for one in good shape

i'm saying this not really knowing what a GTX would be worth

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

I'd probably pay 1500$-2000$+ for one in good shape and maybe 500$ for a non running one.

BPT, G5M-R, BP26 Exintake swap + Fidanza cam gear, NSRT4 FMIC + 2.5" piping, HKS SSQV BOV, Exedy clutch, 3" downpipe + 2" all the way back, Aspire brake swap, KYB GR-2 & FMS coil spring , FMS EURO body kit + Carbon fiber hood, Falcon RTX 15X6½ + Toyo proxes T1R 195/45R15

If its a Mazda I would start at $500 for a parts car complete to around $3,000 to $4,000 for a really nice clean low milage one.

^^^ That is the the right price range for a 323 GTX. Most GTXs fall in the middle of that range and sell from 1500-2500.

yes, sorry, 323GTX. I was thinking $2k for decent condition as well. Good to know my guess was fairly accurate.

                      gtx

i paid $2000 for my 1988 gtx. it ran but was not drivable due to the center diff being in two separate pieces! it was mildly modded with coilovers, front and rear strut bars, full 3 inch exhaust, reich ecu, an hks intake, and a hackjob frontmount ic setup. body is decent. 130,000ish miles. got the new trans for $100.00 and then the turbo crapped out on me. its a project car to say the least.
