thinking of buying this guys 1990 VW Corrado G60, supercharged, very nice and clean, 5 speed, no rust. $2800 dollars for it, anybody got any pros and cons of this car?

my buddy has one thats supercharged. i'd say the biggest con is mileage. he gets about 14mpg and has to run premium. other than that its real fun and quick, plus not too many people have them. one other problem is when things go south on those v dubbs, they really go south and get costly fast! if you have deep pockets, i say go for it. -

find out when the g60 charger was rebuilt!, if it wasnt go get it rebuilt asap, they are about as reliable as cooking a grenade. the G60s are expen$$$$ive to rebuild, alot of guys pull them off and go turbo becuase the g60 8v motor is built for boost and its ushally cheaper and performs better.
other then that its a A2 vdub,Comment

Corrados are awesome looking cars, and when mechanically good, they are great running cars too.. When they break down.. get out your wallet... or just walk in the parts store bent over.. cause you are going to get it.
I always wanted one.... sweet looking rides..Have had 6 Festys... and counting...
