  • Picking up number 5 tomorrow.

Pulled into a thrift shop today and parked right next to a nice '91 "L" today. Not for sale, but had a nice talk and gave them my number for parts. They told me about one for sale down the street. They got my attention! Said they wanted $500 for it. Found the "for sale" car, rough but fixable. Saw the for sale sign of $650...ain't no freakin' way!! I told him $250, he said $350, I said $300, he said $325, I pick it up tomorrow. Didn't see any"goodies" on it, but the nice thing is, the parts it needs are good on the car I picked up in Minnesota a few weeks back. Oh yea, 109,000 miles...gotta like that. I will combine the 2 cars, make one real nice one and one, not-so-nice car, then sell the not-so-nice car which is a '92 GL with 220,000 miles and lots of dents and dings.

For a short time I get one flippin' Festiva closer to Freshtiva!!!!!! Problem is, one is about parted out and I'll be selling one...one step forward and 2 steps back.
