    wonder what kind of gas mileage this metro is capable of, with a 650 bike engine in it? any idea?

      I dont think the clutch will hold up for very long. Looks like fun though and sounds cool.

            Sounds cool...........looks kinda slow, like a festiva could out run it. This has been around quite awhile, never seen any performance numbers for it......

                  I thought about doing that with a Goldwing 1800 motor. Thats where the project got stalled.

                    May be true, but also consider the HP that .65 liter can produce. My nighthawk is a 650, and it produces 20 more HP than a stock festiva.

                    Maybe more than that if I got one of those ebay chips for it. :lol: :lol:

                      Hey make a Briggs and Stratton spin fast enough without blowing up, and it'll have more horsepower than a Bugatti Veyron. Just very little torque. Honda has been doing this little magic trick for years.

                      Horsepower=(Torque X RPM)/5252, IIRC.
