  • When It Rains, It Pours.

I tell you what, I have been swimming in a sea of Festivas this week. I've been counting the days until I get Dudley out. (April 4th if everything works out). I've been helping SIBladerunner get his Festiva, Oliver, going and riding back and forth to our automotive class with him.

He came into AutoZone the other day while I was working to pick up some parts, and while he was there SOMEONE ELSE called and asked me to look up Festiva parts. I told this stranger on the phone about my Festiva obsession, and he told me about his. I told him to check out FF.com.

Finally, today, I was riding around in Oliver with SIBladerunner, and we followed a white GL for a while. Much to SIBladerunner's embarassment, I waved frantically to the girls driving the GL and they rolled their eyes and waved back.

After being Festiva deprived for so long, it's nice to be so immersed in Festivahood again. Can't wait to get Dudley out. I haven't driven him since August.

Is it unhealthy that a weird little car makes me so happy? If it is, I don't think I care.

^Yes. I'm afraid I've been a bad influence on your son. One Festiva, and you're hooked for life. Please accept my humblest apologies. We have been working on it in class for lab credit, so we're kind of having our cake and eating it too.

Fixed the speedometer today, by the way.
