I will be getting a 1990 Festy with an auto trans that has a damaged console. I know the car but have not seen it in a year or two. It has about 250K on it and was running when parked. A friend told me to come get it out of his way for free. The console was damaged to get the car out of park to move it when his wife left for good and he did not have the keys. What years will the consoles interchange? I have been a die hard Subaru Justy driver for years but they are getting hard to find parts for, looks like I will be going the Festy route. I don't know what to expect from the auto trans, I am a fan of the 5 speed. and have been reading info on here about changing the auto to a manual. My Brother runs a towing service and has a manual Festy that has been in the junk yard for some time. A change over could be in the future lol. Thanks in advance. Don Jackson

Welcome to FF.com. Yes any year console will work, I would try placeing a want ad in the for sale forum to get one if you can't find it locally. Also if you search there is information on changing a auto to manual here.Comment
