In my '90 I had a guy blow a red light and hit me head on at 50mph. I got a bruise from the seat belt and that was it!

Need to show this to my girlfriend. She so used the F-150, she is so scared to sit in the Festy that we have to take her car most places.

I wonder why the driver's side is unrated? The steering wheel will make it different from the passenger's side.

Keep in mind one of the crash faults I've read about is in a hard rear ender. The Festiva's front seats are supposedly weak in the mounts or sliders and can come off if hit hard enough. That would allow you to be thrown backwards and out of position.

I read somewhere a long time ago that the front seats weren't bad, but that a lot of fatalities happened in the back seat....
The back seat of death!
So I removed my back seat.....Whats that, you want a ride? Sorry, my car only seats 2.....
